Hooray for new stuff!
Sorry for having such a ho hum day, but I woke up pretty late (at around 1pm). I had to walk 2 miles south to Daley City to the Verizon store to see if I could get a new phone because my old one crapped out on me about a week ago. So I have no way of communicating with anyone other than Facebook, Myspace, or AIM. It may seem like I’m still pretty well connected but in reality I’m not, most people would rather contact me by phone than by sending me a message on myspace. So when I get there it turns out my warranty expired 6 months back and there is nothing I can do unless I buy a new phone (which, with me being jobless and having seen no profit from this blog yet is a big no no). They did however offer to MAIL me a replacement that will arrive on hopefully Wednesday. So after a fruitless atempt at phone-dom, I marched back the 2 miles only to discover, my packages had arrived!! One was a book I needed for Ethnic Studies, and the other was Meteos, the game I lovingly refer to as Crack-tris. I challenged Albert to a quick 7 games (which I anihilated him in all of them by the way), then left to the mall. After a quick check at the other stores, I went into Macy’s where I bought my first dress. I had forgotten how packed the mall was on the weekends. There were people everywhere (mostly high school kids but still), and so most of the good dresses were gone! I wanted a green one, but alas there were only pink and I didn’t want too much pink in my wardrobe. I did find a green dress, but it was a little over my budget. Finally I settled on a teal longer one. I didn’t get to try one anything though because there was a long line and it would be awkward to stand in it with everyone watching. So instead I just paid for it and went on my way. I came back and tried it on, luckily it fit! I was so relieved. I think I’m done with dresses for now and am going to move on to other clothes like skirts and tops. Eventually I hope to have half boy half girl clothes. Well that’s it for now, another day maybe!
For now I’m going to go watch kung fu hustle
